RHMC was established in 2017 and is part of a legacy that began over a decade ago.
The journey started when RealHomes Development was founded in 2009 to assist housing societies through the development, construction, and management of affordable housing projects on Southern Vancouver Island.
Our founders sought to increase the pool of affordable housing in the communities they grew up in. We believe corporate involvement is necessary to make rental apartment developments viable over the long-term.
In 2017, RHD evolved into RealHomes Management Corporation to reflect the company’s growth.
RHMC, like RHD, provides services across the development pipeline; from consulting to land acquisition to construction. Now, our team also provides property management services of select projects from its portfolio.
This ‘new build’ of our team reflects our dedication to meeting the need for effective, accountable, and community-oriented property management for our tenants.

We have added 246 affordable and market housing units to Southern Vancouver Island communities, providing individuals and families in the workforce with comfortable and quality homes.
Our team understands that it is increasingly difficult to maintain a healthy fiscal balance in our lives due to the rising cost of living. We are committed to ensuring there is an affordable housing stock for generations to come.
We understand that all decisions and actions impact our tenants, communities, partners, and investors.
Our team works diligently to develop strong working relationships with our tenants and service providers, and considers each individual property a viable investment where maintenance and long-term planning for continuous improvement is of utmost importance.
We also want to support tenants with their financial goals by responsibly managing and delivering rental agreements that foster sustainable living options within beautiful neighborhoods.
